Another Step Forward for WORK Haiti

The Least of These is very happy to announce that we also have a new volunteer Aimee Price from Sweetlips, TN.  Aimee has volunteered to work on selling our WORK Haiti jewelry in her area.  She is setting up at Fairs and even a local store.  We are really excited to have Aimee as part of our team.

We would also like to say thank you to several friends who have been volunteering to sell our WORK Haiti jewelry in their area.  We very much appreciate all of the efforts that have been put forth for TLOT.

Thank you very much

Tammy Wagner, SC

Loretta Laskey, GA

If anyone is interested in selling jewelry for TLOT simply contact me and I will send you some.

I also want to brag about our Maine sewing group.  They have held a baby shower for TLOT, sewn a large quantity of diapers and frocks, and now they have a drive going on for clothing donations. Thank you, Raylene and friends.

One more brag.  The Women’s Ministry of the E Brookfield Baptist Church has been having a clothing drive for TLOT which is three weeks into a 4 week drive.  Every week TLOT has been receiving wonderful donations not only of clothing but other supplies.  We will have pictures and tell you more when they have finished.  Thank you, everyone at the E Brookfield Baptist Church!

Tyler and I would like to thank all of you who have been supporting TLOT financially.  We are very thankful for the way God has used you to bless the work that is all of ours when we join together financial and with the very many gifts of kind and service.  Thank you for being part of TLOT in your giving.

The Least of These is an organization which works completely through the efforts of hard working volunteers who are committed to serving Christ.

Medical Donations

TLOT is collecting medical supplies that will be given to Foundation Good Samaritan of CT. They run and operate a clinic in Haiti. We are looking for gently used crutches, walkers, new gauze, bandages, and other medical supplies. Often people have these items left over from a medical crisis they had and just want to donate them. Other times items like crutches and walker are put out with the trash. If you see any of these items on the side of the road or free at a yard sale will you please take them for Haiti. Thank you. If you have a name and address of a particular person donating the items we are happy to send them a tax receipt.

Foster Parents and Homes Needed for Incoming Refugees

Christian Freedom International has been working for a very long time to secure an opportunity for Karen and Karenni Christians from the Thailand Burma border to come to America. This dream is about to come true. Their will be families arriving, as well as Unaccompanied Refugee Minors (URM) very soon. Maybe you might like to host one of these families or foster one of the URM children.

Tyler and I will be participating in this program as we sponsor one of these children and are hopeful to have her and her brother come to live with us. Please go to Christian Freedom Internationals site (click here) to read more about how you can help to facilitate this opportunity.

If I can answer any of your questions I will be happy to. Thank you.

Children Available for Adoption, Haiti

TLOT would like to introduce you to a few children needing adoption. These children are all siblings and live in their country, Haiti. If you are interested please contact me  (click here) and I will respond right away.

TLOT does not do adoptions. If you are interested in one or more of these children we will arrange for them to receive placement in an orphanage that can help with those requirements.

David

Wilbert  is a very nice boy.  He is 10 years old and very affectionate.  He spends a lot of time with Tyler and I when we are in Haiti and he is good natured and well behaved.  He has a beautiful smile, and loves to be helpful.

Esterline is a beautiful girl whose smile will melt your heart.  She is 8 years old.  Tyler says that whoever adopts Esterline is going to be very blessed.  He has a soft spot for her.

David is such a cute little guy.  He is 5 years old.  David is very shy.  Here he is wearing his families trademark smile.
