Dozens of Diapers
The need for diapers in impoverished countries is
tremendous, especially at orphanages. For example, we know of one
orphanage that uses 9,600 diapers per month.
Disposable diapers are financially out of reach, not to mention the
negative environmental and health impact they have on these countries.
For many orphanages, the solution is to leave the babies without
diapers. However this causes unsanitary conditions for both the baby and
the orphanage. Through our ministry, Dozens of Diapers, TLOT donates
cloth diapers to orphanages in Haiti, India, Portugal, and Asia.
You can help us by sewing cloth diapers using our simple
pattern:

1. For our easy to sew
Diaper Pattern, simply
contact us
with your name and address. We will send you a pattern
and sewing instructions. Sew as many diapers as you would
like-the need is continual.
2. When you are ready to
donate the diapers, mail them to The Least of These,

Donation tips
• Only use
cotton fabric (cotton flannel adds an extra soft touch)
• Start a sewing club or expand your Fabric to Frocks club to include
diapers •
Purchase fabric on sale or from discount fabric stores ($1.00 per yard
or less) • Use
your scraps and do not worry about fabric flaws
• Some of our sewing groups make diapers and dresses to match
